Hi, my name is Hannah Smith, and I am a designer located in the Bay Area, California.
I am deeply passionate about design, where creativity and functionality intersect to create impactful spaces and experiences. This passion drives me to continuously learn and innovate, ensuring that every project is not only aesthetically pleasing but also deeply connected to the needs of those who will use it. In addition to my design experience, my extensive volunteer work has strengthened my empathy and understanding of diverse perspectives, allowing me to approach design with a people-first mindset. This blend of passion, empathy, and practical experience makes me a designer who is committed to crafting spaces that resonate with and enrich the lives of others.
Passionate about the intersection of design and technology, I am eager to transition into program management or design roles within the tech industry. Currently, I am taking courses in product design, AI, and Human-Computer Interaction to deepen my technical knowledge and enhance my design skills. My goal is to leverage my extensive background in architecture and various design disciplines to lead and manage the creation of user-centric, intuitive digital experiences. By integrating my architectural expertise with my UX and product design aspirations, I aim to oversee and contribute to the development of seamless, engaging interfaces and products that resonate with users. Vision
I bring a multifaceted approach to my craft, specializing in architectural design, UX design, web design, app design, graphic design, and art. A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, my solid foundation in architectural principles fuel my innovative design solutions. Currently thriving as an Architectural Designer, I balance my professional commitments with my entrepreneurial spirit, running my own small business and engaging in freelance design projects. This blend of structured architectural work and creative freelance endeavors allows me to continually refine my diverse skill set and explore new design methodologies. I have recently obtained my Google UX Design Professional Certificate as well as my Google Project Management Professional Certificate and have completed courses in front end development and AI language modeling with IBM.
